School transport in Evesham is arranged term by term with us: regular home-to-school journeys, booked in advance by parents, carers and schools, with Enhanced DBS checked drivers. Prince Henry's High School, the town's primary schools and the Vale of Evesham School all sit within our ordinary round, and a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available for pupils who need it.
A regular run starts as a conversation: the pupil's address, the school, the times of the school day and the days of the week. Once the pattern is agreed it repeats through term time without daily rebooking, and changes, an inset day, an after-school club, a different finish time, are handled by getting in touch with us rather than starting again.
Drivers on school work hold Enhanced DBS checks and work to the Worcestershire County Council ID badge standard. For most families the same driver covers the run, which settles younger pupils and means the adult at the school gate is a familiar face.
Evesham's school journeys begin well beyond the town ring road. Badsey, Bretforton, Offenham and Hampton all feed pupils into town schools, and the morning run is planned village by village so nobody is left standing at a gate. Pupils travelling in wheelchairs are carried in the accessible vehicle, booked in exactly the same way.
Older pupils travel further: to colleges and sixth forms in Worcester and Pershore, and to schools outside the Vale where a place has been offered. Those longer regular journeys are arranged with the same term-time pattern, and exam periods, when start times move around, are worth flagging to us in advance.
The countywide arrangements are explained on our page for school transport across Worcestershire, and Evesham's other journeys are on the town page for Evesham. Over the river, the neighbouring pattern is described on the page for school runs from Pershore.
